Today we started getting the word out in Illinois, Iowa and Arizona! Our newest drop location is the Donut Den in Joliet - located at 3021 East Theodore, Joliet. If you haven't tried Donut Den yet - you don't know what you're missing! Thanks to Bruce Aronson for helping us out - if you stop by the Donut Den check out my personal favorite - the pretzel donut! Donut Den is open Monday Thru Friday 4:00am to 1:00pm, Saturday & Sunday 5am - Noon. You can also find them on facebook!

I put together a press release (click here for pdf file) to help us secure more drop locations. If you need a little info to share with any of your local small businesses feel free to print this press release. Once we've secured our drop locations - I'll put together something new you can take to the local media or pass out to your friends.

Scouting Drop-Off Locations

As we prepare to launch our cell phone drive I - I've been out scouting drop off locations. Our goal is to have many different locations for people to drop off cell phones, inkjet cartridges, ipones, etc.

ILLINOIS

Software Reruns - Software Reruns provides upgrade and repairs to PC's & laptops. They also buy and sell used software. You can drop off your donations at Software Reruns, 2603 Aurora Ave. Suite 119, Naperville IL. M-F 11:30am - 9:00pm and Sat 10:00am - 6:00pm

Kettley Realtors - Kettley Realtors has been helping people buy and sell real estate for over 20 years. You will be able to drop off your donations at any of the 10 Kettley Real Estate Offices in the western suburbs Fox Valley, IL. area - addresses/phone numbers coming soon.

Cell Phone Collection Drive!

Donate Cell Phones & printer cartridges Nov. 1st - Jan. 15th!

We're getting ready to launch a cell phone collection drive November 1st to January 15th. We'll have drop off points in both Illinois and Iowa. We'll be mostly be collecting cell phones and inkjet cartridges but we can also accept ipods, some digital cameras, pda's and laptops.

Making Madi Mobile Fundraiser!

Megan has been working hard putting together a fundraiser that is just 3 weeks away! Proceeds from the fundraiser will help purchase the Standing Dani to help Madi stand upright .

Garage sale was a success!!!!

What an amazing sale! A few weeks ago we held a garage sale to help raise money for Madison so she could get a "Standing Danny" - a machine that will help her stand and develop leg muscles. Sydney Young, Madi's cousin, was really the driving force behind the garage sale and worked hard to raise money. When all was said and done - everyone raised nearly $1300 dollars!

Items to sell at the sale, as well as cash, were donated by friends, family, neighbors and shoppers! We'd like to thank everyone who contributed; Sean Crossley, Jeff & Kathleen Grange, Bruce Aronson, Amy Buchanan, Mr. & Mrs. Tom Grange, Eileen McShea, Mary Kozlowski, Christine Remmes, The O'connell Family, Mr & Mrs Beano, Nicole Goyette, Kathy Casey, Brad & Valerie Wolf, Lilia Gonzalez, Jim & Nancy Marino, Dan Reuland, The Deleon Family and all the shoppers & those who donated money above and beyond their purchases!
